Family Picnic at Mary Moore Searight Metropolitan Park. Since it has been 10 years and many of us have new families or little additions, we thought a family oriented picnic would be a great way to get to know everyone again. This is an event for the whole family and we encourage you to bring your children, other family members or friends with you. This event is free to everyone! Bring anything you would need for an afternoon picnic - food, drinks, chairs etc. There is a pavilion, basketball courts, a playscape and plenty of shade. The address is 907 Slaughter Lane. You don't need to RSVP for this event, and in case it rains, the event will be cancelled.
Saturday, October 18, 2003 - 6:30pm - 11:00pm:
Reunion Dinner at the Manchaca Fire Hall. Get ready to see your fellow classmates at the official 1993 class reunion! You and your guest are invited to a casual barbecue dinner and dancing at the famous Fire Hall (no children please! Let's leave this time for the adult classmates and their guests only). Tickets in advance are $25 for a single or $45 for two. If you are one of the last-minute-I-didn't-RSVP-and-I'm-late types, then you can purchase your tickets at the door: $30 for a single or $55 for two. There will be a cash bar available with beer, wine coolers, etc. However, if you do want to bring liquor, the Fire Hall does allow you to do this - at your own risk and your own assumption of responsibility! We will have a d.j. and a few announcements during the dinner and after, but we are leaving most of the time to you - this is our first time together in 10 years and we have a lot of news to catch up on!
We have hired a photographer to capture our reunion memories! Please plan to be at the reunion by 8pm for a group photo. You can purchase the group photo at the door when you arrive for $10 and the picture will be ready for you at the end of the night. In addition, the candid shots will be available for purchase online after the reunion.
